School Council 2019 - 2020

Each class democratically elects one school councillor to represent their peers and make positive contributions to the school and wider community. The children work on projects to deliver to their peers as part of our Citizenship programme. Meetings are fortnightly with Mrs Manley.

This years school councillors are:

Y2: May and Harley

Y3: Jack and Maisie

Y4: Elaina and Ava

Y5: Ben and Logan

Y6: Florrie and Grace

Autumn term

The school council will learn about plastic pollution and its impact on the environment. They will feedback their learning to their peers and discuss pictures of endangered marine life.

Spring term

Children will continue to learn and discuss the dangers of plastic pollution and raise awareness around the school. They will start campaigning to raise awareness for the ‘Walkers Crisp Packet Recycling Scheme’. This is a scheme to turn empty crisp packets into useful new things.
